Terms & Conditions

Price:
• All care will be taken to your vehicle but from time to time there may be damaged caused by things outside of our control. If this was to happen the charge will go back on to you the customer.
• All work will be carried out at an hourly rate of $130 + GST per hour by our qualified tradesmen.
• All parts/paint prices are an estimate only and are subject to variance due to changing availability.
• Invoices will be provided for any parts/paint and are subject to a 20% markup for sourcing and acquiring. This charge can be avoided if you source, pay and deliver the parts to the workshop. No responsibility will be taken by the Kombinator should the part/paint not be the correct one for the job.
• Any travel or cost associated with sourcing of parts will be passed on to the owner. Travel is charged at the rate of $1 per kilometre and an hourly rate of $130+GST will charged .
• Delivery costs of parts will be charged.
• If the vehicle is not mobile and towing is required, all costs will be passed on to the owner.
• Any additional work required to meet the scope will need to be signed off and agreed by you prior to us starting.
• Any work that is not within the qualifications of The Kombinator staff will need to be outsourced and agreed by the owner prior to work commencing.
• Deposits for outsourced work will be required upon acceptance.
• Vehicle turnaround times are based upon many different factors therefore it is hard to set a firm date for completion of your project. If your job is urgent please alert our staff prior to signing this agreement.


Payment Terms:
• An upfront deposit $2200 inc. GST will be required to secure your position in the job queue.
• As work gets underway an invoice will be sent out on the Wednesday of that week and will need to be paid by the Friday of that same week for us to schedule your vehicle in for the following week.
• Payment of invoices is expected at time of receiving.
• If The Kombinator ceases work on your vehicle we cannot guarantee when it will get back into the job queue.
• Failure to provide payment will result in interest charges 2.5% per week on all outstanding balances.
• If payment not received by the Friday of the week the invoice was sent all work will cease on the vehicle and a storage fee will be applied at a rate of $50 per day.
• If you wish to arrange alternative storage this will be done at your own cost.
• Any vehicle currently under work with outstanding balances will be held as collateral until payment is received for all outstanding payments.
• Any account which is not settled within 30 days from the date of the invoice will be sent to a collection agency and all fees will be passed on to the owner of the vehicle.
• If payment is still not received all parts and the vehicle will remain the property of the Kombinator until full payment is received.

 

Termination of works:
• Any job may be terminated by mutual agreement in writing.
• A minimum of 7 days notice is required for any termination.

• All parts/paint and labour will need to be paid for prior to release of the vehicle.
• Once accounts are finalised the vehicle will be returned to the owner in the condition that it is at the point where the notice is given.
• The vehicle and all parts will remain the property of the Kombinator until accounts are settled.
• Failure to settle accounts will result in interest and storage fees will be applied of $50 per day.

 

Agreement:
Once a start date has been agreed and confirmed by signing this agreement and a deposit paid work will begin on your vehicle.
